The Infinix Smart series, which recently welcomed the Smart 8 series, appears to be gearing up for a new addition with the anticipated launch of the Infinix Smart 9. This upcoming smartphone has been spotted on both the Google Play Console and TUV certification listings, providing some insights into its expected specifications.
The Infinix Smart 9, listed under the model number “X6532,” is set to be powered by a MediaTek MT6769V/CB SoC, which aligns with the MediaTek Helio G70. However, the clock speeds—2.0GHz for 2 cores and 1.8GHz for 6 cores—suggest it could be equipped with the MediaTek Helio G80 instead. The device will feature a Mali G52 GPU, which should support decent graphics performance.
According to the Google Play Console listing, the Smart 9 will run on Android 14 out of the box. It will sport a screen resolution of 720×1600 and a pixel density of 320 DPI, with a minimum of 4GB of RAM. In line with current trends, virtual RAM may also be included to enhance performance.
The Infinix Smart 9 is expected to be positioned as a budget-friendly smartphone, featuring a substantial 4,900 mAh battery. While further details are still to be disclosed, the Smart 9 series may include additional models, similar to its predecessor, the Infinix Smart 8 series.
