Although Microsoft discontinued its Windows Phone in 2017, the unique, minimalistic interface of the OS remains beloved by smartphone enthusiasts. Recently, Michael Fisher, also known as MrMobile on YouTube, introduced Android users to a launcher that revives the nostalgia of the Windows Phone experience: Launcher 10. This free app, available on the Google Play Store, offers a "very authentic taste" of the Windows Phone tile interface, reminiscent of the sleek, boxy tiles seen on Nokia Lumia devices.
Launcher 10 brings the iconic square and rectangular tiles back to Android devices, emulating the same clean and organized look that Windows Phones were known for. Though the launcher has been available for some time, it serves as a reminder of just how customizable Android can be. Upon installation, Launcher 10 populates the home screen with customizable tiles, which users can adjust to their liking—providing both a functional and visually pleasing interface that takes you back to the Windows Phone era.
For Android users seeking a nostalgic Windows Phone experience, Launcher 10 offers an easy way to transform their devices with a familiar, retro interface.
