Apple is gearing up for the release of the fourth-generation iPhone SE, with a planned launch in March 2025. According to a report from MacRumors, citing South Korean news outlet Ajunews, Apple supplier LG Innotek will begin mass production of the iPhone SE 4's front camera module next month, signaling an early 2025 debut.
Typically, LG Innotek begins camera module supply about three months before a product's launch, which suggests that the iPhone SE 4 could arrive in March or April. Additionally, Bloomberg reports that Apple may unveil a new smart home display at the same time, with both products possibly being introduced at a joint launch event.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature a modern design similar to the iPhone 14, including Face ID and a notch at the front, replacing the traditional home button. This will make the SE 4 the most affordable iPhone model to include Apple Intelligence features, which are currently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series.
The upcoming iPhone SE 4 will likely be powered by the A18 chip, first introduced with the iPhone 16 series, and may come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, marking a significant upgrade over the 64GB base storage of its predecessor. This makes the iPhone SE 4 a powerful yet affordable device, bringing advanced features to a broader audience.
