In a significant update for tech enthusiasts, iQOO and Realme have announced that the Indian versions of their flagship smartphones, iQOO 13 and Realme GT 7 Pro, will come with reduced battery capacities compared to their original Chinese models.
The iQOO 13, which launched in China with a 6150 mAh battery, will be offered in India with a 6000 mAh battery. Similarly, the Realme GT 7 Pro, which debuted in China with a larger 6500 mAh battery, will be launched in India with a 5800 mAh battery. Both devices will continue to support 120W fast charging, so the key change is primarily in the battery size.
The iQOO 13 will make its debut in India on December 3, 2024, through Amazon India, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the world's first Q10 2K 144Hz ultra eye-care display, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. It will likely be available in White and Silver color options.
Meanwhile, Realme GT 7 Pro will launch in India on November 26, 2024, and will also be available on Amazon India. It will be India’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
