Nothing has officially launched the Nothing Ear (Open), the company’s first Open Wearable Stereo (OWS), in the global market, including India. This release marks a significant expansion from the previously available in-ear earbuds offered by Nothing and its sub-brand CMF.
The Nothing Ear (Open) is designed with Nothing's innovative Open Sound Technology, allowing for an immersive audio experience while also keeping users aware of their surroundings. The earbuds are equipped with a custom patent diaphragm and a titanium-coated ultra-light driver, which work together to reduce distortion and enhance low frequencies. The titanium coating helps reproduce crisp high notes, delivering a balanced audio profile.
For added comfort and flexibility, the earbuds feature ear hooks made from nickel-titanium wire. The product includes ChatGPT integration to enhance user interaction, providing a modern touch to the listening experience.
To further enrich sound quality, the Ear (Open) comes with an automatic Bass Enhance algorithm that optimizes low frequencies for a richer bass experience. Additionally, Clear Voice Technology is built-in to ensure clearer calls, making these earbuds versatile for both music and communication.
The earbuds are housed in an IP54-rated body, ensuring resistance to dust and water. They support Bluetooth v5.3 for seamless connectivity and Google Fast Pair for quick setup. Additional features include Find My Earbuds, Bass Enhance, pinch controls, and LED charging status indicators.
Battery life is impressive, with the earbuds powered by a 64mAh battery and the charging case boasting a 635mAh battery. According to the company, the Nothing Ear (Open) can provide up to 30 hours of playback time when used with the charging case.
