Nothing, the UK-based tech maker, recently began rolling out the Nothing OS 3.0 to its smartphones, with the update expected to reach all of its devices by early 2025. Now, the brand has officially revealed that its next product will be released in April 2025.
While the specifics of the new product remain unclear, a conversation between Heru of Nothing’s Content Team and Lucy Birley, a CMF Designer, hinted that the upcoming device would launch in April 2025, with a possible blue color option. There were earlier speculations about the release of two models under the Nothing Phone (3) series— the ‘Nothing Phone (3)’ and ‘Nothing Phone (3) Pro’. However, these models were later revealed to be ‘Nothing Phone (3a)’ and ‘Nothing Phone (3a) Plus’ in the GSMA IMEI database, with model numbers ‘A059’ and ‘A059P’, and codenames ‘asteroids’ and ‘asteroids_plus’. The Phone (3a) was also spotted on Geekbench, suggesting it could feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.
In addition to these two devices, the CMF Phone 2 with the model number ‘A0001’ and codename ‘galaga’ has also been identified in the GSMA IMEI database, and is expected to be powered by the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip.
Tech reports suggest that the product launching in April 2025 could very well be either the Nothing Phone (3a) or the CMF Phone 2. As more information emerges, we will have a clearer picture of what to expect. Stay tuned for updates.
