OnePlus is all set to launch the much-anticipated OnePlus Ace 5 series in China on December 26, and the brand has started teasing the key features ahead of the official release. The Ace 5 will be available in three color variants: Speed Black, Gravitational Titanium, and Celestial Porcelain, while the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will come in Submarine Black, Starry Sky Purple, and White Moon Porcelain.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, achieving an impressive AnTuTu score of 3,218,978 points. In addition to this, the device will run on ColorOS 15, bringing a host of new features, including a new gaming assistant, an updated visual style, a message box to consolidate all notifications, lighting start, event immersion mode, and barrage notifications. These new features will offer a more streamlined and engaging experience for users.
In terms of design, the series will be 8.1mm thin and weigh 203g, which makes it 9% lighter and 0.7mm thinner than its predecessor. The phones will come with a slightly-edged metal frame that promises a comfortable and steady grip.
Apart from the details of the Ace 5, OnePlus has also teased some key features of the Ace 5 Pro model. More information is expected to be revealed during the official launch on December 26.
