OPPO is set to launch its Reno 13 series smartphones in China on November 25, with an India release anticipated in January 2025. The Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro will succeed the Reno 12 series, which debuted in July 2024.
The OPPO Reno 13 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a significant upgrade from the 6.7-inch FHD+ display on the Reno 12 Pro. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset in China, with potential variations in India. The smartphone will feature an impressive 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. The front camera will also be a 50MP sensor for high-quality selfies.
Battery life is expected to see a major boost, with the Reno 13 Pro featuring a 5,900mAh battery, up from 5,000mAh on the previous model. It will support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Additionally, the device is likely to come with an IP68/IP69 rating for enhanced durability against dust and water.
Though specific pricing details are not yet confirmed, the Reno 13 series is expected to be priced similarly to its predecessor, with the Reno 12 Pro starting at Rs 36,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
