Realme has officially announced the launch of its highly anticipated GT 7 Pro smartphone in the Indian market, making it the first smartphone in the country to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Scheduled for a November 2024 release, the GT 7 Pro will be available exclusively on Amazon India as an Amazon Specials product. This announcement comes after the device’s debut in China earlier in October.
The brand teased the GT 7 Pro with the hashtag #DarkHorseofAI, highlighting its advanced artificial intelligence capabilities. Besides India, the smartphone is set for a global launch across more than ten markets, including European countries like Italy and Spain, as well as Southeast Asian nations such as Malaysia and Thailand.
Expected Specifications
The Realme GT 7 Pro will feature a micro-quad-curved display with a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 2000 nits of brightness. It will run on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 out of the box. The camera system is expected to include a 50MP IMX906 main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
Additionally, the smartphone will be powered by a substantial 6500mAh battery, supporting 120W wired fast charging. Notably, it may also introduce the brand’s first ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and feature an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.
With these advanced features and capabilities, the Realme GT 7 Pro is poised to make a significant impact in the smartphone market upon its launch.
