Realme is gearing up for the official launch of its Neo 7 smartphone in China next month, with a series of teaser posters hinting at the device's impressive build quality, gaming capabilities, and battery features. The Neo 7 is positioned as a mid-range smartphone that will offer strong competition in terms of performance, boasting a durable construction and a consistent high frame rate for gaming, a feature often missing in other mid-range devices.
Along with performance, Realme promises a substantial upgrade in battery life for the Neo 7, with a larger battery capacity aimed at delivering longer usage time. The smartphone will also introduce a fast charging feature to the mid-range segment, making it stand out from competitors. The Neo 7 is expected to have a 6500+ mAh battery, with some reports suggesting it could even reach 7000 mAh, and an impressive 80W wired fast charging capability.
The device is set to debut on December 11, 2024, in China, and has been teased as an e-sports flagship. It will feature an IP68+ rated body, a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, 5G connectivity, dual SIM support, and a reported AnTuTu score of over 2.4 million points. The Neo 7 is also expected to come with a price tag of around CNY 2499, making it an affordable option in the competitive mid-range segment.
Realme's focus on gaming, battery life, and performance puts the Neo 7 in direct competition with other top-tier mid-range smartphones, and more updates on the device’s features are likely to be revealed as the official launch date approaches. Keep an eye out for further announcements in the coming weeks.
