Xiaomi has expanded its product offerings in India with the launch of the Redmi Buds 6 and Xiaomi Sound Outdoor Speakers. Alongside these, the company has announced the beginning of its Human x Car x Home ecosystem in the country, a move signaling its commitment to creating a seamless experience across devices.
The Redmi Buds 6 come equipped with dual drivers, including 12.4mm titanium drivers and 5.5mm micro piezoelectric drivers, and a quad mic setup. These earbuds support Super ANC Noise Cancellation Mode, blocking up to 99.6% of background noise, and offer 360° Spatial Audio along with a customized Transparency Mode. They also feature Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, dual device pairing, and compatibility with the Xiaomi Earbuds app. With a battery life of up to 42 hours and an IP54 rating, the Redmi Buds 6 are available in three colors: Spectre Black, Titan White, and Ivy Green. Priced at INR 2,799, they will be available from December 13, 2024, via Mi.com, Amazon, and Xiaomi retail stores.
The Xiaomi Sound Outdoor Speakers, designed for both indoor and outdoor use, feature a 30W speaker unit and offer a Subwoofer Boost with SpeakerSync, allowing users to connect up to 100 speakers. With an IP67 dust and waterproof rating, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and StereoSync for true wireless stereo audio, these speakers also offer hands-free calling. With a 12-hour battery life, they are priced at INR 3,499 and will be available starting December 13, 2024, on Mi.com, Flipkart, and Xiaomi retail stores.
In addition to these launches, Xiaomi has hinted at further expansion of its ecosystem, with the Human x Car x Home concept promising future products, possibly including electric vehicles, as part of an integrated user experience across various devices.
