Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is gearing up to launch the highly anticipated Redmi Watch 5 alongside the Redmi K80 series and Redmi Buds 6 Pro in China on November 27. Ahead of the event, key details about the smartwatch have been teased via Weibo.
The Redmi Watch 5 will feature a 2.0mm ultra-narrow four-sided dial with a premium metal frame and a stainless steel rotating crown. It will boast a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with an impressive 1500 nits brightness, an 82% screen-to-body ratio, and a 60 Hz refresh rate, offering an enhanced visual experience. The smartwatch promises an impressive 24 days of battery life, ensuring long-lasting use. It will run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 and provide access to third-party apps for added functionality.
The Redmi Watch 5 will be available in two color options—black and white—giving users a choice in style. As the launch approaches, more details about the smartwatch are expected to be revealed.
