Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Tab A11 in India, strengthening its presence in the budget tablet segment with a device aimed at students, professionals and casual users. The Galaxy Tab A11 comes with a compact form factor, updated hardware features and multiple storage and connectivity options to cater to a wide range of users.
The Galaxy Tab A11 features an 8.7-inch WXGA+ display with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. One of the key highlights of the screen is its 90Hz refresh rate, which offers smoother scrolling and improved visual performance during browsing, gaming and video playback. Samsung positions the tablet as a device suitable for entertainment, online classes and everyday productivity tasks.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab A11 is powered by a 6nm-based octa-core processor, designed to deliver efficient performance with lower power consumption. The tablet is available in up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. For users who need additional space, Samsung has included support for microSD cards up to 2TB, allowing significant storage expansion for apps, documents, photos and videos.
In terms of photography, the Galaxy Tab A11 is equipped with an 8MP rear camera, suitable for scanning documents and casual photography. On the front, the tablet features a 5MP camera that supports video calls, online meetings and virtual classrooms. The device runs on the Android operating system with Samsung’s One UI custom interface, offering access to a wide range of productivity tools, security features and customization options.
Battery life is another major focus of the Galaxy Tab A11. The tablet is powered by a 5,100mAh battery, which Samsung claims is capable of supporting extended browsing sessions, video streaming, gaming and online learning without frequent recharging. This makes the device suitable for users who require long usage hours on a single charge.
Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab A11 in both WiFi and LTE connectivity variants. This allows users to choose between a standard home or office WiFi model or a mobile network-enabled version for use on the go. The tablet is available in two colour options, Classic Gray and Silver.
In India, the Galaxy Tab A11 is available in four configurations. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage WiFi variant is priced at Rs 12,999, while the LTE version of the same configuration is priced at Rs 15,999. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage WiFi model is priced at Rs 17,999, and the LTE version of this top-end variant costs Rs 20,999. Samsung is also offering a bank cashback of Rs 1,000 across all variants, making the launch pricing more attractive for early buyers.
The Galaxy Tab A11 is available for purchase through the official Samsung India website, as well as leading online platforms including Amazon and Flipkart, in addition to select offline retail stores across the country.
With its combination of a high refresh rate display, flexible storage options, long-lasting battery and competitive pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 is positioned as a strong contender in the affordable Android tablet category in India. It is expected to appeal to students, families and users seeking a reliable tablet for daily use.
