Samsung has officially revealed its new lineup of monitors ahead of CES 2025, including the Smart Monitor M9, Odyssey gaming monitors, and ViewFinity S8, marking a significant upgrade in the display technology space. The company aims to offer more ways for users to explore content and connections with AI-powered features and customizable sizes.
Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF Model): The upgraded Smart Monitor M9 comes with AI enhancements like smart picture adaptation and search functions. It features an AI Picture Optimizer that automatically adjusts settings based on the content being viewed. Additionally, a 4K AI Upscaling Pro uses advanced AI processing and neural networks for enhanced visuals. The 32-inch 4K OLED screen has VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and a slim design with a built-in 4K camera.
Odyssey Monitor Series: The Odyssey OLED G8 and G6 models bring new OLED screens to the market, with the G8 being the world’s first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor. The G6 features an OLED screen with a 500Hz refresh rate and ultra-smooth gameplay. Both monitors deliver 0.03ms response time, support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and are NVIDIA Sync compatible. Samsung will also showcase a 27-inch Odyssey 3D gaming monitor that converts 2D content into 3D using AI.
ViewFinity S8: The ViewFinity S8 is a 37-inch 4K monitor designed for productivity with an impressive sRGB 99% color gamut. It’s certified for ergonomic workspace use and eye care with flicker-free and Eye Save modes. This model includes an Easy Setup stand and a 90W USB-C connection for charging and connecting devices.
