Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date of the highly anticipated Vivo S20 series, which will be unveiled in China on November 28th. Pre-reservations for the series have already started in the country. The Vivo S20 series will consist of two models: the Vivo S20 and the Vivo S20 Pro. The company has also revealed the design of the smartphones through a microsite on Vivo China's official website.
The devices feature a pill-shaped rear camera module with a circular camera unit, housing dual camera sensors. The Pro model adds a third sensor outside the circular module, and both phones feature an Aura Light LED flash. On the right side of both devices, you will find the power and volume buttons.
The Vivo S20 will be available in three color options: Phoenix Feather Gold, Jade Dew White, and Pine Smoke Ink. The S20 Pro will come in Phoenix Feather Gold, Purple, and Pine Smoke Ink. The S20 model will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while the S20 Pro will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC and a 50MP Sony Super Periscope Telephoto camera.
The S20 series is expected to have advanced features like a 6500 mAh battery on the Vivo S20 and a BOE Q10 OLED display, ensuring an immersive viewing experience. Vivo’s vice president also confirmed the OLED display, which is expected to offer vibrant and sharp visuals. Both models are expected to be thin and lightweight, with the S20 featuring a 7.19mm slim straight screen.
