Vivo has officially teased the upcoming launch of the Vivo V40e for the Indian market, with the release date now confirmed for September 25th at 12 PM, just in time for Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale. Although the phone has not yet been listed on Flipkart’s microsite, it is expected to be available there following the launch, as Vivo has consistently promoted its V series through this platform.
The Vivo V40e will feature a 6.77-inch ultra-slim 3D curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2392×1080 resolution, P3 colour gamut, HDR10 support, and SGS low blue light certification. The device will sport a triple camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, alongside a 50MP front camera for selfies. Camera highlights include Portrait Mastery, Sony Professional Night Portrait, Aura Light, ultra-stable 4K video recording, and AI Photo Enhancer.
Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, the Vivo V40e is expected to offer configurations with 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. A 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging will provide up to 98 hours of music playback and 20 hours of YouTube viewing. The device, just 0.749 cm thick and weighing 183 grams, will be available in Mint Green and Royal Bronze color options.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav has suggested that the 8GB + 128GB variant will be priced at Rs 28,999, though it remains unclear whether this includes any promotional offers.
