As more details continue to emerge through leaks and certification sites, consumers and tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting official confirmation from Vivo.

Vivo is reportedly gearing up to introduce its next-generation smartphone, the Vivo V60, in the Indian market. Following the success of the V50 series, the new V60 is expected to bring improvements in design, performance, and camera capabilities. Though the company has not officially confirmed the launch date, multiple leaks and reports suggest that the device could arrive in India by early September 2025.

Design renders of the Vivo V60 show a modern and refined appearance with curved edges, a punch-hole display, and a sleek glass back. The phone is likely to be available in various color options, including shades of black, blue, and gradient finishes, in keeping with Vivo’s recent design trends. It is expected to be slim and lightweight, continuing the V-series tradition of stylish aesthetics.

In terms of display, the Vivo V60 may feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD Plus resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This would ensure a smooth user experience, especially for video streaming and gaming. The screen is also expected to support high brightness and HDR capabilities, providing vibrant visuals and better outdoor visibility.

Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor or an equivalent Snapdragon chipset, depending on the variant and market region. Coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the Vivo V60 is expected to deliver strong performance across apps, multitasking, and gaming.

The camera system is expected to be a major highlight. Leaked details point to a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a macro or telephoto lens. Vivo is also likely to integrate advanced AI-based features for improved low-light photography and video stabilization. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera is expected, housed within the display punch-hole.

Battery performance will also be a key focus, with the phone rumored to house a 5000mAh battery supported by 66W fast charging. This would allow users to charge the device quickly and rely on it for all-day usage without concern. The phone is also expected to run on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 14 out of the box.

Connectivity features will include 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C. An in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock are also anticipated for secure access.

The Vivo V60 is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 29999 to Rs 34999 in India, placing it firmly in the premium mid-range segment. This could position it against competitors like the OnePlus Nord series, Samsung Galaxy A-series, and Xiaomi’s flagship Lite variants.

As more details continue to emerge through leaks and certification sites, consumers and tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting official confirmation from Vivo. If the rumored specifications hold true, the Vivo V60 could be one of the most exciting mid-range launches in India this year.
