Vivo has launched its latest smartphone, the X200T, in India, positioning it as a strong contender in the premium segment. The device combines a Zeiss-engineered camera system with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, aiming to deliver high performance for photography, gaming, and everyday use.
In terms of design, the Vivo X200T follows a minimalistic approach. It features a clean back panel with a large circular camera island that houses its advanced camera system. The power button and volume rockers are placed on the left spine, while the bottom edge accommodates the Type-C port, SIM tray, and speaker grille. This design ensures a premium feel while keeping the device ergonomic and sleek.
The Vivo X200T comes in two configurations. The 12GB RAM variant with 256GB internal storage is priced at Rs 59,999, while the 12GB RAM variant with 512GB storage costs Rs 69,999. Vivo is also offering an instant cashback of Rs 5,000, making the effective prices more attractive. Customers can purchase the phone in two colours—Stellar Black and Seaside Lilac—through Flipkart, the Vivo India e-store, and other authorised retail partners.
For display and performance, the X200T features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5000 nits. This ensures sharp visuals, smooth scrolling, and an immersive viewing experience. Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, allowing for seamless multitasking, faster app loading, and smooth gaming performance.
The device runs on Android 16 with Vivo’s Origin OS 6 skin, offering a user-friendly interface and a host of customisation options. Notably, Vivo has committed to providing five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, highlighting the brand’s focus on long-term support.
Camera performance remains a highlight of the X200T. The Zeiss-engineered system is designed to deliver high-quality images with advanced computational photography features. Users can expect enhanced low-light performance, detailed shots, and a versatile set of camera modes suitable for photography enthusiasts and casual users alike.
Other notable features include a robust battery, fast charging support, and enhanced connectivity options, making the X200T a comprehensive package for technology enthusiasts.
Overall, the Vivo X200T combines premium design, advanced camera capabilities, powerful performance, and long-term software support, making it a compelling choice in its segment. With its launch in India, Vivo aims to strengthen its position in the mid-to-high-end smartphone market while appealing to consumers who value both performance and reliability.
