Vivo, after the successful launch of the Y300 Pro 5G in China in September 2024, is gearing up to release the regular Y300 5G model. Scheduled for launch on December 16, 2024, at 2:30 PM local time, the Chinese Y300 5G variant will bring distinct features compared to its Indian counterpart, including a 'Super Speaker' system. The phone will showcase a squircle rear camera setup with two sensors and an LED ring light, available in White and Green color options.
The Y300 5G (Chinese model) will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage, and will feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5000 nits peak brightness. For photography, the phone includes a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera and a 32MP front camera for selfies. It will also pack a massive 6500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
The phone will run Android 14-based OriginOS 4 and support multiple connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C. A 'Privilege Gift Package' is available for early buyers of the device, which can be purchased before the official launch at just CNY 1.
