The highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 Series is expected to debut soon, with speculation pointing to an October or November release. Recently, the standard variant received certification from China's 3C, revealing key charging specifications.
According to previous leaks, the Xiaomi 15 will run on HyperOS 2.0, which is based on Android 15. This places the Xiaomi 15 Series among the flagship devices set to be released in the final quarter of 2024.
On the photography front, the Xiaomi 15 is expected to boast a triple-camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel OmniVision main camera equipped with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor and a wide aperture. While the 3C certification does not disclose the battery size, it is anticipated to have either a 4,800mAh or 4,900mAh battery.
The device is listed under the model number “24129PN74C.” An earlier IMEI database listing suggests that this model corresponds to the Xiaomi 15. Notably, the 3C certification indicates an upgrade in charging capabilities, with the new model supporting 90W fast charging, an improvement over the 80W fast charging of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, along with its Pro and Ultra variants.
