Xiaomi is set to unveil an impressive lineup of devices at its upcoming launch event on October 29, 2024, showcasing its flagship Xiaomi 15 series alongside the Band 9 Pro and several other high-tech gadgets.
Xiaomi 15 Series – Key Specs
The highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 series brings advanced features to users, starting with a Leica-branded camera system that integrates Xiaomi’s AISP 2.0 technology, a miniaturized optical setup, and AI algorithms that enhance capture speed by 82%. The display features a custom M9 luminous material with ultra-narrow, equal 1.38mm bezels and can reach an exceptional brightness level of 3200 nits. During high-performance tasks, such as 3D gaming, the phone maintains efficient performance with an average frame rate of 59.4 FPS, temperature at 42.1° C, and power usage of 73.7mW per frame.
Battery life is robust, featuring Xiaomi’s highest battery density of 850Wh/L, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor paired with HyperCore technology offers a 45% performance boost and 52% improved power efficiency. The Pro model in this series also sports an ultra-low power 2K display with deep quad-curved edges, a ceramic camera module, 5x periscope telephoto, 10x lossless zoom, and Xiaomi’s Star Communication System.
Xiaomi Band 9 Pro – Key Specs
The new Band 9 Pro is geared towards health and convenience. It provides comprehensive sleep health monitoring with support from professional medical institutions and records detailed sleep metrics. Enhanced sensors and algorithms improve heart rate tracking accuracy by 15% and sleep monitoring by 4.4%. An integrated GNSS system delivers 33% more accurate location tracking, and a multi-scenario NFC smart card feature adds ease with auto card switching and car key recognition.
Battery life has been boosted, offering up to 21 days of regular use and 10 days with Always-On Display (AOD) enabled. Xiaomi is also introducing a 24-hour continuous wear design, with an upgraded on-wrist focus notification system for better user experience.
