Xiaomi has officially confirmed that a new Redmi smartphone, the '2025G', will soon be launching globally. The announcement was made via the brand's Redmi India X handle, with the tagline "Kick off the New Year with a bang, #2025G is coming your way." The teaser poster reveals a glimpse of the device's design, hinting at a circular rear camera module. Additionally, it seems that this smartphone will support 5G connectivity.
While the official details are scarce, Xiaomi has teased that the full specifications will be revealed in the coming days, as they encourage consumers to "Stay Tuned." More information on the smartphone is expected to be shared soon.
In the meantime, Xiaomi has been busy launching other products. In December 2024, the company introduced several new devices in India, including the Redmi Buds 6, Xiaomi Sound Outdoor Speakers, the Redmi Note 14 5G series, the POCO C75 5G, and the POCO M7 Pro 5G smartphones. Additionally, Xiaomi recently announced a Burgundy Red Special Edition of their Mini Bluetooth Speaker and a new 6A Magnetic Braided Fast Charging Data Cable in China. The brand also launched its YU7 EV model this month.
