Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Watch 5 Lite in India, expanding its wearable lineup with an impressive set of features. The smartwatch boasts a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels, offering peak brightness of 600 nits for vibrant visibility. It provides over 200 watch faces, including 50+ customizable ones and more than 30 Always-On Display options, giving users a range of personalisation choices.
The Redmi Watch 5 Lite is equipped with advanced health monitoring capabilities such as 24/7 heart rate tracking, blood oxygen sensing, sleep and stress monitoring, and period cycle tracking. It includes a variety of sensors like an accelerometer and gyroscope to support its extensive health and fitness features.
In addition to its health functionalities, the watch supports Bluetooth v5.3 LE for connectivity and is compatible with both Android 6.0+ and iOS 12+ devices. Bluetooth calling is made possible with the built-in microphone and speaker, and its 2-Mic Environmental Noise Cancellation ensures clear call quality. The watch is also water-resistant up to 5ATM, making it suitable for various water-based activities.
Redmi Watch 5 Lite offers over 160 sports modes and five-system GNSS for accurate location tracking during outdoor activities. Other notable features include customizable widgets, night mode, DND (Do Not Disturb), and Alexa support for smart assistant functionality. With a 470mAh battery, the watch promises up to 18 days of use with typical activity and up to 12 days with more intensive usage.
The watch comes in Black and Light Gold colors and is priced at Rs. 3,999, though it will be available at an introductory price of Rs. 3,499 on mi.com starting from midnight today.
