Royal Enfield October 2026 Sales Grow 7% to 1.33 Lakh Motorcycles, Exports Surge 47%

Royal Enfield recorded total sales of 1,33,442 motorcycles in October 2026, registering 7% year-on-year growth compared with 1,24,951 units sold in October 2025. The company achieved its highest-ever monthly sales during the period, supported by festive-season demand and stronger exports.

Domestic sales increased by 4% to 1,21,527 units, compared with 1,16,844 units in the same month last year. Exports recorded a much stronger performance, rising 47% to 11,915 motorcycles from 8,107 units in October 2025.

The latest figures highlight Royal Enfield's continued growth in the Indian market and improving performance in international markets. The company also reported its best-ever festive-season sales across September and October 2026.

Royal Enfield Records Highest-Ever Monthly Sales

Royal Enfield's total sales reached 1,33,442 motorcycles in October 2026. This was an increase of 8,491 units compared with the 1,24,951 motorcycles sold in October 2025.

The 7% year-on-year growth represents a strong monthly performance for the company. Domestic demand remained the main contributor, accounting for 1,21,527 motorcycles during October. The remaining 11,915 units were exported to international markets.

The October sales figures are factory dispatches, which refer to motorcycles supplied by the company to dealers and export destinations. They are different from retail registrations, which measure vehicles registered by customers.

Royal Enfield's performance also reflects the importance of the festive period for the Indian two-wheeler industry. Consumer demand during festivals often supports vehicle purchases, particularly in the motorcycle segment.

Domestic Sales Increase 4% in October

Royal Enfield recorded domestic sales of 1,21,527 motorcycles in October 2026, marking a 4% increase compared with 1,16,844 units in October 2025.

India continued to account for the largest share of the company's monthly sales. The domestic market contributed more than 90% of Royal Enfield's total October volumes.

The company's motorcycle portfolio includes popular models such as the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350. Its larger-capacity range includes motorcycles such as the Himalayan 450, Guerrilla 450, Super Meteor 650, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.

These motorcycles cater to different customer requirements, including daily commuting, touring, city riding and long-distance travel.

However, the company has not provided individual model-wise sales figures in its monthly announcement. Therefore, the contribution of specific models to October's overall growth cannot be established from the available sales data.

Exports Surge 47% Year-on-Year

Exports were one of the strongest contributors to Royal Enfield's October performance. The company shipped 11,915 motorcycles to overseas markets, compared with 8,107 units in October 2025.

This represents an increase of 47% year-on-year. The faster growth in exports indicates improving demand for Royal Enfield motorcycles in international markets.

Although exports accounted for a smaller share of the company's total sales than domestic volumes, their growth rate was significantly higher during the month.

Royal Enfield has been expanding its international presence through its motorcycle portfolio and retail network. Its mid-capacity motorcycles have helped the brand reach customers in several overseas markets.

The October figures suggest that international shipments provided additional support to the company's overall sales performance. However, a detailed country-wise export breakdown was not included in the reported monthly figures.

Royal Enfield Achieves Best-Ever Festive Season Sales

Another major highlight was the company's performance across September and October 2026. Royal Enfield recorded combined sales of 2,67,400 motorcycles during these two months, marking its best-ever festive-season performance.

The combined volume surpassed the company's total sales during the previous festive season, even before the current festive period had completely concluded.

The strong two-month performance reflects continued customer demand across Royal Enfield's motorcycle range. The company has also indicated that it is increasing production to meet customer requirements as the festive season progresses.

B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield, said the company had experienced an exceptional festive season, with riders across India continuing to choose its motorcycles.

He also highlighted the importance of increasing production to meet demand and noted positive growth in key international markets.

April to October 2026 Sales Increase 17.5%

Royal Enfield also reported strong cumulative sales growth during the first seven months of the 2026 to 2027 financial year.

Between April and October 2026, the company recorded total sales of 8,42,538 motorcycles, compared with 7,16,854 units during the corresponding period last year. This represents year-on-year growth of approximately 17.5%.

Domestic sales increased to 7,63,548 units from 6,38,326 units, registering growth of approximately 19.6%.

Exports during the same period stood at 78,990 units, compared with 78,528 units in the previous year. This represents a marginal increase of approximately 0.6%.

The cumulative figures show that domestic demand was the main driver of Royal Enfield's financial-year sales growth. While exports recorded a sharp increase in October, cumulative export volumes remained relatively stable during the April to October period.

Larger-Capacity Motorcycles Also Record Growth

Royal Enfield's October sales performance also showed positive growth across different engine-capacity categories.

Motorcycles with engine capacities up to 350cc, including electric vehicles in the reported category, recorded sales of 1,16,816 units, representing growth of approximately 5.4% compared with October 2025.

Motorcycles with engine capacities above 350cc recorded sales of 16,626 units, marking growth of approximately 18.1%.

The stronger performance of the larger-capacity category indicates increasing demand for motorcycles positioned above the company's traditional 350cc range.

This segment includes models designed for touring, performance-oriented riding and premium motorcycle buyers. Royal Enfield's expansion into higher-capacity motorcycles is an important part of its broader product strategy.

What the October Sales Figures Mean for Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield's October 2026 sales report highlights positive momentum in the company's domestic and international businesses. Total monthly sales increased 7%, while exports recorded a particularly strong 47% rise.

The company's record festive-season sales of 2,67,400 motorcycles across September and October further demonstrate the strength of demand during the period. Its cumulative sales growth of 17.5% between April and October also reflects a strong performance during the first seven months of the financial year.

Going forward, production capacity, domestic customer demand and export performance will remain important factors for the company. Royal Enfield is also preparing to expand its product portfolio with new motorcycles and developments in its electric mobility business.

Overall, October 2026 was a significant month for Royal Enfield, with the company achieving its highest-ever monthly sales and its strongest festive-season performance to date.

Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield, said the company had experienced an exceptional festive season, with riders across India continuing to choose its motorcycles.
