Renault India has launched the 2025 facelift of its popular MPV, the Triber. The refreshed model brings subtle styling changes and minor feature upgrades, all while maintaining its value-for-money proposition. The 2025 Triber facelift is expected to build upon the success of its predecessor by offering improved aesthetics and a slightly updated feature list, appealing to urban families and first-time car buyers.
The exterior of the 2025 Triber facelift has received a few noticeable updates. The front fascia now comes with a redesigned grille and tweaked headlamp elements. The bumper has also been mildly revised to give the vehicle a more contemporary look. Renault has introduced new alloy wheel designs and a couple of fresh exterior color options to offer more choices to buyers. While the overall silhouette remains unchanged, these minor revisions enhance the car's road presence.
Inside the cabin, the facelifted Triber features small but practical upgrades. The dashboard now gets a dual-tone finish in certain variants, and the infotainment system has been updated with enhanced connectivity features. Renault has retained the modular seating arrangement, allowing for flexible configurations including a removable third row. This continues to be one of the Triber’s biggest selling points, especially for families looking for a versatile and affordable MPV.
In terms of performance, the 2025 Renault Triber continues to be powered by the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, while select variants also offer an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) option. Although the powertrain remains unchanged, it is compliant with the latest emission norms, ensuring cleaner operation.
Safety features continue to include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, speed alert, and seatbelt reminders. Higher variants also get additional safety equipment such as reverse parking camera and side airbags. Renault is also focusing on improving build quality and occupant safety, which has become an increasingly important factor for Indian car buyers.
The price of the 2025 Triber facelift has seen a marginal increase compared to the outgoing model. The base variant now starts at a slightly higher price, while the top-end variant continues to offer premium features at a competitive rate. Renault has justified the price hike with the added features and updated design elements.
The Triber facelift is expected to strengthen Renault’s presence in the compact MPV segment, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets where affordability, space, and practicality are top priorities. It also remains one of the few models offering genuine seven-seater flexibility at a sub-10 lakh price point.
With the 2025 facelift, Renault is aiming to maintain its momentum in the Indian market while staying aligned with evolving customer expectations. The Triber remains a smart choice for buyers seeking an economical yet spacious vehicle for everyday use and occasional long-distance travel.
