Audi India has officially launched the refreshed version of its high-performance electric sedan, the E-Tron GT Quattro. The new model brings notable upgrades to performance, comfort, and user experience, reflecting Audi’s growing commitment to electric mobility in the premium segment.
The updated E-Tron GT Quattro is powered by a dual-motor setup, continuing to offer Audi’s signature Quattro all-wheel-drive system. However, this time, engineers have made refinements to the software and chassis systems, resulting in sharper throttle response and smoother handling. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just around 4.1 seconds, showcasing its sports car-like agility.
Key mechanical improvements include a more advanced adaptive air suspension system and revised drive modes that now provide a better balance between performance and comfort. These adjustments make the driving experience more engaging while also suitable for daily urban use. Audi has also reduced noise levels in the cabin for a more serene driving environment.
In terms of design, the new E-Tron GT retains its dynamic and futuristic styling. However, Audi has introduced minor tweaks such as new alloy wheel designs, sharper LED light signatures, and subtle changes to the rear bumper. These updates add a sense of modern refinement to an already bold-looking electric car.
The interior receives upgrades that enhance both technology and luxury. New upholstery materials, improved seat ventilation, and an updated infotainment system ensure passengers experience maximum comfort. Audi’s virtual cockpit now includes enhanced EV-specific data like energy consumption insights and optimized navigation for charging stations.
One of the notable upgrades is the inclusion of improved thermal management, which helps the battery operate efficiently across different weather conditions. The battery pack offers a similar range as before — estimated at 480–500 km on a single charge (WLTP cycle) — but now with faster DC charging capabilities that can take the battery from 5% to 80% in under 25 minutes using a 270 kW fast charger.
The launch comes at a time when luxury EV adoption is rising in India. Audi’s E-Tron GT Quattro competes with rivals such as the Porsche Taycan and the Mercedes-Benz EQS. With its latest update, Audi aims to offer not just performance, but also a luxurious and comfortable EV experience tailored to Indian buyers.
Price and Availability:
The updated Audi E-Tron GT Quattro is available at select Audi dealerships across India and through the company’s online platform. While the price is expected to be slightly higher than the previous version, Audi is offering exclusive service and charging packages to attract new buyers.
Conclusion:
With improved ride quality, updated technology, and performance-focused upgrades, the new Audi E-Tron GT Quattro strengthens Audi’s EV portfolio in India. As demand for premium electric vehicles grows, Audi appears poised to lead in both innovation and customer satisfaction.
