Ferrari has revealed its newest grand touring model, the Amalfi, which will serve as the successor to the highly acclaimed Roma. With the unveiling of the Amalfi, Ferrari signals a new chapter in its front-engined sports coupe lineup, combining luxury, everyday usability, and performance into a single elegant design. The Amalfi aims to retain the core character of the Roma while pushing the boundaries in terms of technology, styling, and driving dynamics.
The new Ferrari Amalfi carries forward the company’s philosophy of creating vehicles that balance sophistication with speed. It features a sculpted exterior design that is both sleek and aggressive, drawing inspiration from classic Ferrari proportions while integrating modern aerodynamic innovations. Notably, the Amalfi features a longer and lower profile compared to the Roma, enhancing its grand touring character and improving overall stability at higher speeds.
Under the hood, the Amalfi is expected to carry the same 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that powered the Roma, although with slight performance improvements. The engine is paired with Ferrari’s eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering power to the rear wheels. While exact performance figures have yet to be officially confirmed, it is anticipated that the Amalfi will produce over 620 horsepower and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in under 3.5 seconds.
Inside the cabin, Ferrari has introduced a reimagined cockpit that includes high-quality materials, improved seating comfort, and enhanced digital interfaces. The dashboard is dominated by a wide digital instrument cluster, complemented by a secondary screen for the passenger. Ferrari’s latest infotainment system now features updated connectivity options, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Climate control, navigation, and audio systems have also been upgraded for a more premium in-cabin experience.
Safety and driver assistance features have been improved as well, with the Amalfi offering adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and parking sensors as standard. Despite being a performance-focused coupe, the Amalfi continues Ferrari’s push toward integrating more advanced technologies that make the car suitable for daily driving.
The Amalfi is designed as a 2+2 coupe, with rear seats best suited for short journeys or additional luggage space. The rear boot has been redesigned to improve practicality, offering more room compared to its predecessor. This practical approach makes the Amalfi a strong contender in the premium grand tourer segment.
With the launch of the Amalfi, Ferrari aims to appeal to a new generation of buyers who value luxury, performance, and comfort in equal measure. The car is expected to be available in key global markets in the coming months, with bookings to begin soon through official Ferrari dealerships. While no specific date has been announced for its India launch, Ferrari is likely to bring the model to Indian shores by early next year, given the increasing interest in high-performance luxury vehicles in the country.
