Škoda Auto has announced the launch of special 25th Anniversary Editions for its popular models — the premium SUV Kodiaq, the compact SUV Kushaq, and the mid-size sedan Slavia. The new editions have been introduced to celebrate the brand’s 25 years of presence in India, a milestone that marks its growth and contribution to the country’s automotive market since its debut in 1999.
The Anniversary Editions feature distinctive cosmetic enhancements to differentiate them from the standard models. This includes a special 25th Anniversary badging on the exterior and interior, new alloy wheel designs, and exclusive color options that are not available on regular trims. Inside, the cabin gets upgraded upholstery, unique interior trims, and additional premium features to enhance comfort and appeal.
Škoda’s Kodiaq Anniversary Edition retains its position as the flagship SUV, offering a powerful petrol engine, all-wheel-drive capabilities, and a host of advanced safety features. The Kushaq, which has been a strong performer in the competitive compact SUV segment, gets added style elements and a refreshed interior in this special edition. Meanwhile, the Slavia Anniversary Edition continues to target sedan lovers with its premium build quality, spacious cabin, and new feature updates as part of the celebration.
In addition to cosmetic updates, Škoda has also ensured that the Anniversary Editions come equipped with the latest technology and safety offerings. This includes advanced infotainment systems with smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, a premium sound system, multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and more.
The brand has stated that these models will be produced in limited numbers, making them exclusive for buyers looking to own a special piece of Škoda’s history in India. Pricing details have not yet been officially disclosed, but they are expected to be slightly higher than the current top-spec trims due to the added features and exclusivity.
Škoda Auto entered the Indian market in 1999 with the launch of the Octavia, which quickly became known for its build quality and driving dynamics. Over the years, the company has expanded its lineup to cater to various segments, including premium SUVs and sedans, and has established itself as a brand that delivers European engineering with localized value.
The launch of these Anniversary Editions is also seen as part of Škoda’s strategy to strengthen its brand image in India amid growing competition in the automotive sector. The company is also focusing on expanding its dealership network, improving after-sales service, and introducing more feature-rich models to attract Indian buyers.
Bookings for the 25th Anniversary Editions of the Kodiaq, Kushaq, and Slavia are now open at select Škoda dealerships across India. Deliveries are expected to commence in the coming weeks. With this launch, Škoda aims not only to celebrate its successful journey in India but also to reinforce its commitment to offering premium and exclusive vehicles to the Indian market.
