New Delhi:

Maruti Suzuki's compact SUV Brezza has marked a significant milestone in March 2025 by recording sales of over 16,000 units, demonstrating a sharp rise in consumer demand and reaffirming its strong presence in the competitive compact SUV market in India.

According to data released by the company, Brezza’s performance in March signals growing customer preference for feature-loaded, fuel-efficient urban SUVs. The SUV's sales surge is attributed to a combination of factors including recent tech upgrades, appealing design, and Maruti Suzuki’s trusted service network.

The Brezza is currently offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. It also includes mild-hybrid technology for enhanced fuel efficiency, which continues to be a major draw for cost-conscious Indian consumers.

Recent updates to the model—such as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6 airbags, reverse parking camera, LED DRLs, and connected car tech—have further enhanced its appeal in the segment. Buyers are also appreciating the dual-tone paint options and premium interior finishes, which add to its urban appeal.

Experts note that the compact SUV segment has seen intensified competition, but the Brezza’s brand value, practicality, and after-sales support have kept it ahead. With high fuel prices and growing demand for compact yet spacious vehicles, Brezza is striking the right balance between affordability and functionality.

Industry analysts believe Maruti Suzuki’s continued focus on expanding its dealership network and offering competitive finance options is also playing a key role in boosting sales across metro and tier-2 cities.

As the new financial year begins, Maruti Suzuki is expected to maintain momentum by rolling out new marketing campaigns and potentially introducing CNG or hybrid variants of the Brezza in the future, further widening its consumer base.

The strong March sales performance is a promising indicator of Brezza’s continued leadership in its segment and a positive sign for Maruti Suzuki’s broader SUV strategy in 2025.
