The GT2 Stradale is aimed at professional and amateur racing teams participating in GT2 category events across Europe and other global racing circuits.

Maserati has taken centre stage at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025 with the global debut of two new high-performance vehicles — the MC Pura supercar and the GT2 Stradale. The unveiling marks a major moment for the iconic Italian automaker, which is increasingly focusing on performance engineering, motorsport, and next-generation design.

The MC Pura, a road-legal super sports car, and the GT2 Stradale, a racing variant inspired by Maserati’s GT competition heritage, both represent the brand’s continued push toward redefining luxury with speed, precision, and advanced technology.

MC Pura: The Road-Legal Supercar

The MC Pura is described as Maserati’s vision of a modern supercar built for the road while carrying strong racing DNA. It features a lightweight carbon-fibre body, a newly engineered twin-turbocharged V6 engine derived from Maserati’s Nettuno platform, and a chassis tuned for both everyday driveability and high-speed stability.

Design-wise, the MC Pura features flowing aerodynamic lines, a low-slung silhouette, and active aerodynamic components that adjust to optimize performance. Inside, the cockpit is built with premium materials, including Alcantara, leather, and exposed carbon fibre. The digital instrument cluster and infotainment system offer a balance between luxury and function.

The car is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in under three seconds and reach top speeds in excess of 320 kilometres per hour.

GT2 Stradale: Built for the Track

Accompanying the MC Pura is the GT2 Stradale, a race-focused car based on the same performance platform but modified for circuit use. It includes a stripped-down interior, enhanced aerodynamics, racing suspension, and full FIA-compliant safety features. The GT2 Stradale is aimed at professional and amateur racing teams participating in GT2 category events across Europe and other global racing circuits.

The engine has been retuned for endurance and performance under competitive conditions. Maserati has incorporated a data acquisition system, roll cage, fire suppression system, and carbon ceramic brakes, ensuring that the car is fully equipped for high-performance motorsport activity.

Maserati’s Performance Direction

These two launches are part of Maserati’s wider strategy to return to motorsport while reasserting its identity in the high-end performance segment. The company had already re-entered Formula E and GT racing in recent years, and the MC Pura and GT2 Stradale further underline this motorsport revival.

At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, both models were seen in action on the iconic hill climb circuit, attracting attention from motorsport fans and luxury car collectors.

Maserati confirmed that the MC Pura will be available in limited numbers globally, with deliveries expected to begin by the end of the year. The GT2 Stradale will be sold through select channels to qualified teams.

These latest unveilings reinforce Maserati’s evolution as a brand that blends Italian design heritage with modern racing excellence and premium performance.
