Skoda Auto India has updated its product portfolio by revising the variant lineup of the Skoda Kylaq. Alongside the recent introduction of the Skoda Kushaq 2026, the company has added two new variants to the Kylaq range, aimed at offering customers a wider selection across different budgets and feature requirements.
The two newly introduced trims are the Classic Plus and the Prestige Plus. With these additions, the Skoda Kylaq is now available in a total of six variants. According to the company, the Classic Plus variant is priced at Rs 8.25 lakh, while the Prestige Plus carries a price tag of Rs 11.99 lakh. All prices are ex showroom.
The overall price range of the Skoda Kylaq now starts at Rs 7.59 lakh for the base variant and goes up to Rs 12.99 lakh for the top end trim. This revised structure allows Skoda to position the Kylaq more competitively in the compact SUV segment, which continues to see strong demand in the Indian market.
While Skoda has not announced any mechanical changes with the introduction of the new variants, the Classic Plus and Prestige Plus trims are expected to bridge the gap between existing variants by offering a balanced mix of features and value. This strategy is commonly adopted by manufacturers to cater to buyers who want additional features without stepping up to the fully loaded variant.
The Kylaq has been one of Skoda’s key offerings in India, known for its solid build quality, driving dynamics, and European design language. With increasing competition in the segment, the addition of new trims helps the brand attract a broader customer base, including first time buyers and those upgrading from smaller vehicles.
Skoda Auto India has been steadily refreshing its lineup to strengthen its presence in the country. The recent launch of the Skoda Kushaq 2026 and the updated Kylaq variant range indicate the company’s focus on keeping its portfolio relevant and competitive.
For prospective buyers, the expanded variant lineup means more flexibility when choosing a Kylaq. Customers can now select a trim that best suits their budget and feature preferences without compromising on the core strengths of the vehicle.
Interested buyers are advised to check with authorised Skoda dealerships for the complete and updated price list, variant wise features, and availability. Prices may vary slightly based on location due to registration costs, insurance, and other charges.
With these updates, Skoda aims to maintain momentum in the Indian market while offering customers more choice and value in its SUV lineup.
