London:
Electric-vehicle specialist Halcyon has reinforced its leadership bench by appointing three automotive industry veterans to its advisory board: former McLaren Automotive CEO Mike Flewitt and ex-Rolls-Royce directors Graham Biggs and Graham Lenden. The move is designed to accelerate Halcyon’s expansion and to commercialise its advanced 800-volt electric architecture through a newly established technology division, Evice Technologies.
Advisory Trio’s Mandate
The newly appointed advisors will support Halcyon’s founding team in scaling up production, refining its engineering processes, and penetrating new markets. Through Evice Technologies, Halcyon aims to licence and integrate its high-voltage EV platform with third-party vehicle manufacturers, including automotive, marine, and defence sectors. The advisory panel will provide strategic oversight on technology development, brand positioning, and global roll-out
Background of the Appointees
- Mike Flewitt, who led McLaren Automotive from 2012 to 2021, is credited with tripling annual production volumes and launching flagship models such as the P1 and Speedtail. His four decades in high-performance car manufacturing bring critical expertise in scaling niche luxury vehicle programmes.
- Graham Biggs served as Global Corporate Communications Director at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, orchestrating the brand’s worldwide relaunch, and later as Corporate Communications Director for BMW Group UK, where he oversaw eight entities including MINI’s acclaimed global debut.
- Graham Lenden held senior marketing roles at Bentley and Aston Martin before becoming Rolls-Royce’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, where he led the Ghost launch that quadrupled annual sales. His track record in luxury brand growth and product positioning is expected to elevate Evice Technologies’ market entry strategy
Commercial Success and Capital Raise
Halcyon’s appointment of this advisory trio comes on the heels of its debut vehicle programme success. The limited-edition Halcyon Remastered Rolls-Royce Corniche saw all 2026 production slots sell out within months of its announcement. Reservations are now open for 2027 builds, underlining robust customer demand for high-end, electrified classic car remasters. Concurrently, the company is conducting a capital raise to fund expanded manufacturing capacity and accelerate Evice Technologies’ scale-up
Matthew Pearson, CEO of Halcyon and Evice Technologies, said, “Mike Flewitt, Graham Biggs, and Graham Lenden join us at the perfect time, as we expand to meet global demand. Their knowledge and expertise are a powerful asset and a strong endorsement of our vision. We’re only just getting started.” Flewitt added, “I have grown a deep respect for the technology Halcyon has developed and look forward to sharing my industry experience to help the team deliver exceptional electric vehicles”
Strategic Outlook
With high-voltage EV platforms poised to redefine both performance and efficiency standards, Halcyon aims to position itself at the forefront of electrification for luxury and specialist vehicles. The new advisory board will guide product roadmap decisions, partnership negotiations, and regulatory engagement as Halcyon transitions from a remaster-focused niche manufacturer to a broader EV technology provider.
