Nissan India has expanded the colour palette of its popular compact SUV, the Magnite, by introducing a new Metallic Grey option. This new colour aims to attract urban buyers who prioritise both aesthetics and practicality in their vehicle choices. The introduction of this shade marks Nissan’s effort to keep the Magnite offering fresh and appealing in a competitive segment that includes models from multiple leading manufacturers.
The new Metallic Grey colour is now available across a majority of the Magnite variants, including the higher-spec trims that come with additional premium features. The company has confirmed that the new colour option does not bring any change to the pricing of the model. It is offered at the same price as the existing colour options, allowing customers to select based on personal preference without incurring additional costs.
Nissan’s decision to introduce this new colour reflects current customer trends, where colour choice plays an important role in purchasing decisions. The new shade adds a modern and bold look to the SUV’s already distinctive exterior design. The Magnite features strong body lines, a wide grille, LED headlamps, and dual-tone alloy wheels, all of which are further accentuated by the Metallic Grey finish.
The Magnite is powered by two petrol engine options. The first is a 1 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. The second option is a 1 litre turbo petrol engine that delivers 100 PS and up to 160 Nm of torque. Both engines are available with manual and CVT automatic transmissions, depending on the variant. The SUV is known for its smooth performance, especially in city driving conditions.
Inside the cabin, the Magnite offers a feature-rich experience. Highlights include an 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a 7 inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, climate control, a rear-view camera, and ambient lighting in higher variants. Nissan also provides several safety features as standard, including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
The new Metallic Grey variant is now available for booking through all authorised Nissan dealerships across India as well as through the official website. Deliveries for this colour are expected to begin immediately in regions where stocks are available. Nissan is also offering finance options and exchange bonuses as part of its ongoing promotional campaigns.
With this update, Nissan continues to show its commitment to the Indian market by keeping its product line-up fresh and aligned with customer preferences. The Magnite has played a significant role in strengthening the company’s presence in India and continues to be a volume driver for the brand.
By offering new visual choices such as the Metallic Grey variant, Nissan aims to maintain consumer interest and sustain its momentum in the competitive compact SUV space.
