Features such as voice control, digital instrument clusters, and touchscreen infotainment systems are standard across variants, making both models appealing to tech-oriented users.

VinFast, the electric vehicle arm of Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup, has unveiled the complete variant and colour option list for its much-anticipated electric SUV models, the VF 6 and VF 7. These vehicles are part of the company’s global expansion strategy, targeting key international markets including India, North America, and Europe.

The VinFast VF 6 is a compact electric SUV designed for city driving and short-range commuting. It will be offered in two key variants: Eco and Plus. The Eco variant focuses on affordability and efficiency, offering essential electric features and a practical interior layout. The Plus variant, on the other hand, comes with upgraded interiors, a larger infotainment system, and added safety features, providing a more premium experience.

The VinFast VF 7 is positioned as a larger and more powerful sibling to the VF 6. Also available in Eco and Plus variants, the VF 7 is equipped with higher battery capacity and enhanced performance metrics. The VF 7 Plus will feature dual-motor all-wheel-drive, a panoramic sunroof, a premium audio system, and an advanced driver-assistance package.

Both models will support the VinFast operating system with over-the-air software updates and integration with mobile apps. Features such as voice control, digital instrument clusters, and touchscreen infotainment systems are standard across variants, making both models appealing to tech-oriented users.

In terms of aesthetics, VinFast has paid special attention to colour options, offering a wide variety of exterior shades to attract younger buyers. Some of the standout colours include Ocean Blue, Crimson Red, Midnight Black, and Silver Mist. The full list features over eight shades, providing ample choice for customers seeking a personalised touch. Interior colours will also vary by trim, with options ranging from standard black fabric to dual-tone leatherette upholstery in higher-end versions.

VinFast stated that the new models are designed by the Italian firm Torino Design, focusing on aerodynamic styling and modern proportions. The design cues are consistent with global trends in the electric SUV segment, including bold front fascias, LED lighting, flush door handles, and coupe-inspired rooflines in the VF 7.

In terms of performance, the VF 6 is expected to deliver a range of around 400 kilometres on a single charge for the Eco variant, while the VF 7 Plus may offer close to 500 kilometres. Official certification and local specifications for markets like India are yet to be announced.

VinFast has also confirmed that bookings for the VF 6 and VF 7 will begin in selected markets in the coming months, with deliveries planned for early next year. The company is expected to announce pricing, warranty packages, and service plans soon. India is among the key markets under consideration as VinFast continues to build its presence in the global EV space.

Both models will support the VinFast operating system with over-the-air software updates and integration with mobile apps.
