The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education is scheduled to release the AP LAWCET Phase 1 seat allotment result 2026 today, October 6. The allotment is part of the first phase of counselling for admissions to law programmes in Andhra Pradesh for the 2026 academic session.

Next, open the AP LAWCET admissions section and select the candidate login option.
Enter the required login credentials and submit the details.
After logging in, look for the Phase 1 seat allotment result or allotment order.
Check the allotted college and course details carefully.
Download the allotment order and keep a printed copy for the admission process.
Candidates who receive a seat should also complete the prescribed online self reporting process before proceeding to the allotted college.
AP LAWCET Phase 1 Reporting Dates
Candidates allotted seats in Phase 1 are required to complete the next stage of the admission process within the prescribed deadline. Physical reporting at the allotted colleges is scheduled from October 7 to October 9, 2026.
Students should not wait until the final day to complete the reporting process. They should carefully read the instructions mentioned in the allotment order and follow the admission procedure specified by the allotted institution.

Documents Required for AP LAWCET College Reporting

The documents generally required for the admission verification process include the AP LAWCET 2026 rank card and hall ticket, Class 10 and Class 12 certificates or mark sheets, qualifying degree or provisional graduation certificate wherever applicable, transfer certificate and a valid government issued identity proof.
Candidates claiming local status may also need to provide the required study or residence certificate. Those seeking benefits under a particular reservation or category should carry the applicable caste or category certificate.
Candidates applying for eligible fee related benefits may also be required to produce a valid income certificate or other supporting document as specified by the counselling authorities.

AP LAWCET Phase 1 Counselling Schedule
The Phase 1 counselling registration and processing fee payment were conducted from September 24 to September 29, 2026. Certificate verification was scheduled from September 25 to October 2, while web options entry was conducted from September 29 to October 2.
Candidates were given an opportunity to edit their web options on October 3. The Phase 1 seat allotment is scheduled for October 6, followed by physical reporting and verification at allotted colleges from October 7 to October 9.
The allotment is prepared using the candidate's rank, eligibility, reservation criteria and the preferences entered during the web options process. Therefore, candidates should carefully examine the allotment order after it becomes available.
Important Information for Candidates
The AP Common Admissions Portal has also notified candidates about DNR College of Law, Bhimavaram. The college has been included in the counselling process in compliance with interim directions of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. However, the portal states that the college does not currently have approval from the Bar Council of India.
Candidates who are allotted a seat at any institution should therefore carefully check the details provided in the official counselling portal and follow the instructions issued by the authorities and the allotted college.
Students should also ensure that all admission formalities, including applicable fee payment, online self reporting and physical reporting, are completed within the prescribed timeline.
