The Government of India has announced the winners of the prestigious Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar 2025, recognising exceptional achievements in science, technology, and research. Top Honour – Vigyan Ratna
The Vigyan Ratna, the highest award, was awarded posthumously to Prof. Jayant Vishnu Narlikar for his pioneering work in Physics. Narlikar, renowned for his contributions to astrophysics and cosmology, has inspired generations of scientists and students in India and globally.
