The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the extension of the NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling deadline. This extension comes in light of the reduction in the percentile cut-off for the exam. As per the revised schedule, candidates now have more time to complete the choice filling and locking process for round three, with the new deadline set for January 16, 8 am. The final seat allotment for the third round will be released on January 18.
Important Dates for NEET PG 2024 Round 3 Counselling:
- Choice Filling and Locking: The extended deadline for filling and locking choices is January 16, 8 am.
- Final Seat Allotment Release: The final seat allotment list for round 3 will be published on January 18.
- Reporting and Joining Dates: Candidates must report to their allotted colleges between January 18 and January 25.
In response to the revised percentile cut-off, the MCC has provided these extended timelines, giving candidates the opportunity to make informed choices and proceed with their counselling process. The reduction in the cut-off will likely make more candidates eligible for seat allotment in the third round.
Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for further updates and instructions related to the NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling. This extension provides crucial time for candidates to finalize their preferences and ensure they are well-prepared for the next steps in the NEET PG admission process.
