The ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2026 is scheduled to be held in the first week of February in New Delhi, continuing the initiative that allows students, teachers, and parents to engage directly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on matters related to examinations and student well-being. This unique program provides a platform for young learners and educators to discuss challenges related to academic pressure, stress management, and personal development.
During the event, participants will have the chance to ask questions on a wide range of topics, including coping with board exams, setting realistic goals, building motivation, and maintaining mental health during periods of academic stress. PM Modi is expected to address these concerns with practical advice, strategies for exam preparation, and tips on managing anxiety and staying focused on personal and educational goals.
PPC has gained recognition for promoting a positive outlook toward examinations and reducing anxiety among students. The initiative encourages open dialogue between students and the Prime Minister, offering guidance on achieving a balanced approach to academics and personal growth. Teachers and parents also benefit from insights shared during the session, helping them support students more effectively in managing pressure and enhancing performance.
For those unable to attend the event physically, live streaming will be provided across multiple platforms to ensure wider accessibility. Telecast will be available on Doordarshan channels including DD National, DD News, DD India, along with major private TV networks. Radio listeners can tune in via All India Radio on both MW and FM channels.
Digital access will be provided through official web platforms such as the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) website, the Ministry of Education website, Doordarshan online, and MyGov.in. In addition, live streams will be broadcast on social media platforms, including YouTube (Ministry of Education channel) and Facebook Live, along with educational outreach via Swayam Prabha Channels. These multiple streaming options ensure that students from across India, including those in remote regions, can benefit from the guidance and advice shared during the session.
Pariksha Pe Charcha has been held annually since its inception in 2018 and has evolved into a significant event connecting the Prime Minister with students nationwide. The 2026 edition is expected to continue this tradition by addressing modern challenges faced by students in academics, mental health, and motivation.
The event emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to learning, encouraging students to focus on knowledge, personal growth, and emotional well-being rather than solely on exam results. By providing tools and guidance for stress management, goal setting, and motivation, PPC 2026 aims to empower students to approach their studies with confidence and resilience.
This edition is expected to attract participation from thousands of students, teachers, and parents, while millions more can follow the program through live streaming and online platforms, reinforcing the government’s commitment to student welfare and educational engagement across the country.
