In Tamil Nadu, skill development training programs for primary school teachers are being continuously conducted. In this regard, a one-month training session will be provided to English language teachers working in government schools, organized by the South Indian Regional English Training Institute in Bengaluru.
The training session will take place from January 16 to February 14, 2024. Except for teachers who have already undergone training, other interested teachers will be selected to participate. This training session is designed to introduce more nuanced skills and modern methods of teaching English to teachers.
Teachers interested in participating in the training must fill out a designated form with their details and submit it to the District Education Officers by January 7. Teachers must ensure that their details are submitted following the proper guidelines.
The primary objective of this training is to enhance the skills of the teachers and, in turn, improve the students' learning outcomes in English. By introducing modern teaching methodologies, the training aims to fully develop the teaching abilities of the teachers and provide a better learning experience for the students.
The Tamil Nadu government is giving significant attention to skill development for teachers by providing them with relevant training. This initiative will not only help in the teachers' professional growth but also contribute to the overall educational advancement of the state, benefiting students across Tamil Nadu.
