The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has officially declared Sankranti holidays for all Intermediate colleges across the state. Scope of the Holiday

This holiday notification applies to all junior colleges, including government, private, aided, unaided, residential, social welfare, tribal welfare, model schools, BC welfare institutions, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, and composite degree colleges offering the two-year Intermediate course. The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has urged college principals and management to ensure strict compliance with the holiday schedule.

Adherence to Holiday Schedule

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Board emphasized that colleges, particularly private unaided institutions, must refrain from conducting any classes during the holiday period. The Secretary of the Board warned that failure to comply with the holiday schedule could result in severe consequences, including potential disaffiliation for institutions found violating the directive.

TSBIE Inter Board Exam Dates 2025

In related news, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education had earlier released the tentative timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) 2025. Scheduled to begin on March 5, 2025, and conclude on March 25, 2025, these exams will cover both 1st-year and 2nd-year students across General and Vocational streams, including MPC, BiPC, MEC, and Vocational courses.

Preparing for a Smooth Resumption

The Board has also urged educational institutions to ensure that there are no disruptions after the Sankranti holidays and to facilitate a smooth transition back to classes once the festivities conclude. The authorities are hopeful that the break will provide students with the necessary respite while maintaining academic discipline and focus in the lead-up to the upcoming examinations.

Students, parents, and educators are advised to follow the official announcements and adhere to the holiday schedule for a seamless academic year.
