The Prashanth and Priya Anand-starrer Andhagan has made its theatrical debut this Friday. Directed by Thiagarajan, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Pattukkottai Prabakar, the crime thriller is produced by Staar Movies.
In addition to Prashanth and Priya Anand, the film features an ensemble cast including Simran, Karthik, Samuthirakani, Urvashi, Yogi Babu, K. S. Ravikumar, Vanitha Vijayakumar, and the late Manobala. The movie is brought to life with music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Ravi Yadav, and editing by Sathish Suriya.
Andhagan is a remake of the 2018 Hindi hit Andhadhun. The story centers on a blind pianist who inadvertently becomes involved in the aftermath of a murder. Driven by his conscience, he feels compelled to report the crime he has not technically 'seen', but the question remains—is there more to him than meets the eye?
