With releases arriving on Netflix, JioHotstar and ZEE5, viewers have plenty of options for their weekend watchlist.

One of the most anticipated releases is Operation Safed Sagar: The Highest Air Force Mission, which begins streaming on Netflix. Inspired by the Indian Air Force's role during the Kargil War, the military drama explores the challenges faced by air force personnel during one of India's most significant military operations. The series combines emotional storytelling with action while paying tribute to the courage and dedication of the armed forces.

Animation fans can look forward to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, arriving on JioHotstar. The film follows Mario, Luigi and their friends on a new adventure across the galaxy after Bowser Jr. launches another dangerous mission. Featuring colourful animation, humour and action packed sequences, the movie expands the popular video game franchise with a larger intergalactic storyline designed for audiences of all ages.

Netflix also premieres Our Sticky Love, a romantic comedy starring Jung Hae In and Ha Young. The story follows a prosecutor who loses her memory during a dangerous investigation and is protected by a former boxer pretending to be her boyfriend. As they spend time together in the countryside, their fake relationship gradually develops into genuine romance, creating a blend of humour, emotion and heartfelt moments.

Telugu cinema fans can stream Lenin on ZEE5. Featuring Akhil Akkineni, Sreeleela, Jagapathi Babu and Devdatta Nage, the action drama spans several decades and follows the journey of an orphan determined to challenge corruption and injustice in his hometown. Inspired by themes from the Mahabharata, the film combines family drama, action and emotional storytelling.

Another ZEE5 release is Tumbadchi Manjula, a Marathi horror comedy starring Om Bhutkar, Prathamesh Parab and Kshitee Jog. The story revolves around a harmless prank involving a fake ghost possession that creates widespread panic in a village. The film blends comedy, supernatural elements and social commentary while exploring the consequences of rumours and blind beliefs.

Netflix adds another thriller with The Last House. Starring Ben Foster, Michelle Monaghan, Scoot McNairy and Odessa A'zion, the science fiction horror film follows a family mysteriously trapped inside their own home without any apparent escape. As fear grows and supplies begin to diminish, they attempt to uncover the truth behind their confinement while struggling to survive.

Another major Netflix release is Main Vaapas Aaunga, directed by Imtiaz Ali. Featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, Vedang Raina, Banita Sandhu, Rajat Kapoor and Sanjay Suri, the emotional drama follows a 95 year old man living with dementia whose forgotten memories reveal an unfinished love story dating back to the Partition of India. Netflix also releases Death Inc. Season 4, continuing the popular series with new episodes that promise additional suspense, mystery and dramatic developments for returning viewers.
