The film is scheduled to release on February 20 and is expected to address socially relevant themes, consistent with the director’s filmmaking style.

February 2026 is shaping up to be an eventful month for Bollywood, with multiple Hindi films lined up for theatrical release across the country. After a strong start to the year, filmmakers are preparing to present a diverse slate of stories ranging from romance and drama to thrillers and sequels.

One of the most anticipated releases is ORomeo, starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. Directed as a romantic crime thriller, the film also features Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, and Farida Jalal in key roles. ORomeo is scheduled to release in cinemas on February 13, 2026, and is expected to draw significant attention due to its cast and genre blend.

Sharing the February calendar is Tu Yaa Main, directed by Bijoy Nambiar. The film stars Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor and is set to release on February 13, leading to a direct box office clash with ORomeo. The story follows two content creators whose adventure gradually turns into a tense survival experience. Known for his stylised storytelling, Nambiar’s film is expected to offer a darker narrative.

Another major release is Do Deewane Seher Mein, a romantic drama featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is slated for a February 20 release. The cast also includes Ila Arun, Naveen Kaushik, and Achint Kaur. The film is expected to focus on emotional storytelling set against an urban backdrop.

Taapsee Pannu returns to collaborate with filmmaker Anubhav Sinha in Assi, marking their reunion after earlier projects. The film is scheduled to release on February 20 and is expected to address socially relevant themes, consistent with the director’s filmmaking style.

February will also see the release of Vadh 2 on February 6. Directed by Jaspal Singh Sidhu, the sequel stars Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, reprising their roles from the 2022 film Vadh. The sequel is expected to continue the intense narrative that earned the original film critical acclaim.

On the same date, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain Fun on the Run will arrive in theatres. Based on the popular television series, the film stars Aasif Sheikh, Rohitashv Gour, Shubhangi Atre, and Vidisha Srivastava. The movie aims to bring the sitcom’s humour to the big screen for family audiences.

Rounding out the month is Beyond The Kerala Story, set to release on February 27. Starring Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha, the film is a sequel to The Kerala Story and continues the narrative introduced in the earlier film.

With a mix of established stars, new pairings, sequels, and genre variety, February 2026 promises to be a significant month for Hindi cinema, offering audiences multiple options at the box office.

Starring Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha, the film is a sequel to The Kerala Story and continues the narrative introduced in the earlier film.
