The cast also includes Tillotama Shome as the public prosecutor and Dia Mirza as Arjun Mehra's wife. The courtroom drama explores legal ethics, justice, and personal values.

Another major release is Peddi, starring Ram Charan in the lead role. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the Telugu sports drama arrives on Netflix on July 9. The story follows a talented cricketer whose life takes an unexpected turn after he falls in love with Achiyamma, portrayed by Janhvi Kapoor. As circumstances change, he enters the world of wrestling while the narrative also highlights the transformation of his village through the development of railway infrastructure.

Malayalam cinema also features prominently this week with the release of Balti on SonyLIV on July 10. Written and directed by Unni Sivalingam, the action drama stars Shane Nigam in the lead role alongside Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Preethi Asrani, Alphonse Puthren, K. Selvaraghavan, and Poornima Indrajith. Set in the border region between Kerala and Tamil Nadu, the film follows four talented Kabaddi players whose lives become complicated after they confront a powerful moneylender.

Viewers interested in international series can watch The Five Star Weekend on JioHotstar beginning July 9.
