Paramount Movies has dropped the official trailer for Old Guy, a highly anticipated action-packed thriller that explores the unlikely partnership between an aging contract killer and a young, rebellious assassin from the new generation. The film centers around Danny Dolinski, a seasoned hitman who believes he is still at the top of his game. After being stuck in a boring desk job, Danny is given a second chance when The Company reassigns him to fieldwork—only this time, he’s tasked with training Wihlborg, a cocky Gen Z assassin with unmatched talent but a bad attitude.
The duo is assigned to eliminate a rival crime syndicate, but as they delve deeper into their mission, they discover a darker, more sinister plot orchestrated by their employer. The Company’s real goal is to eliminate the "old guard" of assassins and take full control of the criminal empire. What they didn’t anticipate was that Danny’s experience combined with Wihlborg’s youthful brilliance would create an unexpected bond between the two.
Along with the help of Anata, a spunky club manager and love interest, Danny and Wihlborg take matters into their own hands. They plot to take down The Company, and in doing so, prove that age is no obstacle in the world of contract killing. The film promises to showcase explosive action, intense drama, and a story about friendship, loyalty, and defying expectations.
Set to be a thrilling ride, Old Guy is a unique take on the classic action genre, blending the wisdom of experience with the raw power of youth. Fans of fast-paced, high-stakes films will find plenty to love as Danny and Wihlborg team up to take down a dangerous conspiracy and show the world that even old dogs can teach new tricks.
