Netflix has unveiled the first teaser for its upcoming dark comedy series No Good Deed, offering a glimpse into a world where a seemingly perfect house holds eerie secrets. Created by Liz Feldman, known for Dead to Me, the series stars Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano as Lydia and Paul, a couple navigating life’s next chapter. As empty nesters, they decide to sell their stunning 1920s Spanish-style villa located in one of Los Angeles’ most desirable neighborhoods. However, as three families compete to buy the house, they are unaware of the dark mysteries lurking beneath its beautiful façade.
The teaser hints at a blend of comedy, mystery, and horror, as the house's haunting past becomes a central part of the plot. The series also features a star-studded cast including Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Teyonah Parris, and Luke Wilson, with guest stars such as Matt Rogers, Kate Moennig, Chloe East, and Rory Scovel.
Along with her role as creator, Liz Feldman also serves as the showrunner, director, and executive producer. Silver Tree joins her in directing and producing, while Christie Smith, Will Ferrell, and Jessica Elbaum serve as executive producers under Gloria Sanchez Productions.
The eight-episode series No Good Deed will premiere on Netflix on December 12, promising a mix of thrills, laughs, and surprises.
