The team behind Amal Neerad's much-awaited action thriller Bougainvillea released a striking new poster on September 19, showcasing key actors Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Jyothirmayi. In the poster, the actors are dressed in black, standing against a bold red and white background, which appears to be a key visual theme for the movie. According to industry tracker AB George, Bougainvillea is expected to hit theaters on October 10.
Bougainvillea features a stellar cast that includes Sharafudheen, Veena Nandakumar, and Srinda, with many of the actors having collaborated with Amal Neerad in his previous films. The movie is especially significant as it marks the return of Jyothirmayi, Amal Neerad's wife, to the screen after more than a decade away from acting.
The film's screenplay has been crafted by novelist Lajo Jose and Amal Neerad, with additional dialogues by RJ Murugan, known for his work on Bheeshma Parvam. The technical crew, which includes cinematographer Anend C Chandran, editor Vivek Harshan, and music composer Sushin Shyam, has been retained from Neerad’s previous projects, ensuring continuity in the film's visual and musical style.
Produced by Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban under the banners of Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures, Bougainvillea promises to be an exciting addition to Neerad’s filmography, with an experienced team behind it and high anticipation from fans.
