The creators of Bougainvillea, directed by Amal Neerad, have launched a captivating new poster on their social media channels. The poster features a black-and-white aesthetic showcasing lead actors Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Jyothirmayi, and Sharaf U Dheen, all set against a vibrant red background. This much-anticipated film is set to hit theaters worldwide on October 17.
Bougainvillea has been co-scripted by novelist Lajo Jose and Amal Neerad, with additional dialogues penned by R J Murugan, known for his work on Neerad's previous film, Bheeshma Parvam. The cast also includes notable performances from Veena Nandakumar and Srinda, while Kunchacko Boban stands out as the sole new face among the principal cast members, many of whom have previously collaborated with Amal.
Interestingly, the film marks the return of actress Jyothirmayi, who is married to Amal Neerad, after a hiatus of over a decade. The project is being produced under the banners of Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures, with Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban as producers.
Amal has retained a familiar technical crew from his last venture, including cinematographer Anend C Chandran, editor Vivek Harshan, and composer Sushin Shyam, promising a visually striking and musically engaging experience for audiences.
