Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of L2: Empuraan, the second installment of the blockbuster action drama Lucifer. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, this highly anticipated sequel has generated considerable buzz, and the latest update from the actor-director has only heightened expectations. Prithviraj recently announced via his official Instagram that filming has resumed in Gujarat after a slight delay.
Mohanlal, who stars in the film, previously mentioned that the Gujarat schedule will involve around 250 crew members, with most of the shooting taking place in Palatial. This location will be crucial for capturing the flashback sequences that delve into the backstory of Abraam Khureshi, Mohanlal’s character. In addition to Gujarat, the film will also shoot in various other locations, including Mumbai, Dubai, and Hyderabad, adding to the film’s dynamic setting.
During the promotions for ARM, Tovino Thomas, who played a significant role in Lucifer and is also part of Empuraan, spoke highly of Prithviraj. He remarked, “I have been saying this to every director. Mr. Prithviraj is one of the most brilliant directors I have ever worked with. When working with him, I can be relaxed. I don’t have to stress out. He is also an actor and knows the thought process of an actor. Prithviraj knows how to get the best or whatever he wants from an actor.”
