The Kerala Story 2 has recorded steady growth at the domestic box office, collecting an estimated Rs 10.45 crore within its first three days of release. The film, which features Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia and Aishwarya Ojha in key roles, was released in cinemas on February 27.

Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the film had a modest opening on its first day, earning approximately Rs 75 lakh. However, it witnessed a significant jump in collections on day two, when it reportedly grossed Rs 4.65 crore. According to early trade estimates, the film collected around Rs 5 crore on day three, taking its total earnings to approximately Rs 10.45 crore.

The film’s release had earlier been subject to legal scrutiny. The Kerala High Court had issued an interim stay on its theatrical release for 15 days. Following further proceedings, the stay order was lifted, allowing the film to arrive in cinemas as scheduled on February 27.

Industry analysts note that while the film opened below the Rs 1 crore mark, the sharp increase in collections on the second and third days indicates growing audience interest. Weekend occupancy in several regions reportedly contributed to the upward trend. However, final box office figures may vary once official numbers are consolidated.

Day wise collection figures based on early estimates are as follows. Day one Rs 75 lakh. Day two Rs 4.65 crore. Day three approximately Rs 5 crore. The cumulative total after three days stands at about Rs 10.45 crore.

Trade observers highlight that word of mouth and regional performance will be crucial in determining the film’s sustainability during the weekdays. Mixed critical reactions were reported following the release, but box office trends suggest that the film managed to attract audiences during its opening weekend.

The Kerala Story 2 continues to screen in multiple theatres across India. With the first weekend completed, attention now shifts to weekday performance and whether the film can maintain its momentum in the coming days.

Box office tracking agencies will provide updated figures as the week progresses. For now, early estimates indicate that the film has crossed the Rs 10 crore mark within three days of its theatrical run.
